L’idea fondante è quella di realizzare un organismo che non assolva solamente alla funzione didattica, ma che diventi un luogo di riferimento, di incontro e di aggregazione per l’intero quartiere, dove venga celebrato il rito dell’urbanità. Tale obiettivo verrà perseguito proponendo un modello di scuola diffusa, dove edifici autonomi si fondano coerentemente con lo spazio pubblico ed il sistema a verde: è piacevole pensare al concetto di Scuola immersa nel Parco. La filosofia di progetto prende origine dall’evento traumatico che ha profondamente segnato le comunità di questi luoghi. L’intero Polo Scolastico, inizialmente immaginato unito concettualmente in una sola unità funzionale, come per l’effetto di un sisma si disgrega in quattro parti autonome e distinte: la Scuola dell’Infanzia, Primaria, Secondaria e la Palestra. La qualità architettonica non verrà ricercata solamente attraverso il costruito, ma bensì nel complesso rapporto che si instaurerà tra le parti. La frattura generata darà origine ad un luogo identitario formato da un percorso pedonale pubblico che collegherà il parcheggio varie funzioni richieste dal bando. Tale spazio verrà considerato come luogo delle relazioni sociali che, metaforicamente associato all’immagine di frattura tettonica, avrà il compito di incrementare ancor più il senso di comunità. La ricostruzione non solo fisica di questi luoghi, passa inevitabilmente dall’educazione delle giovani generazioni che, unite nel ricordo, avranno il compito di trasportare la comunità nel futuro più prossimo. Il progetto si fa portatore di un forte messaggio didattico – culturale. La disgregazione delle parti viene resa evidente attraverso un duplice trattamento delle facciate: il guscio esterno sarà definito da fronti compatti dal carattere urbano trattati superficialmente ad intonaco mentre il cuore interno, vera e propria quinta architettonica del complesso, si configurerà grazie ad un misurato equilibrio tra superfici vetrate, filtri solari colorati e legno di larice. I volumi di progetto, nella loro linearità, verranno definiti da coperture metalliche fotovoltaiche. E’ chiara la volontà di dialogare con i profili del paesaggio montano circostante e di associare la scuola alll’archetipo di Casa, in modo da rendere più rassicurante la permanenza dei giovani fruitori.

The founding idea is to create an organism that not only fulfills the educational function, but that becomes a place of reference, meeting and aggregation for the entire neighborhood, where the ritual of urbanity is celebrated. This objective will be pursued by proposing a model of a widespread school, where autonomous buildings are based coherently with the public space and the green system: it is pleasant to think of the concept of a School immersed in the Park. The project philosophy takes its origin from the traumatic event that has deeply marked the communities of these places. The entire Scholastic Pole, initially imagined conceptually united in a single functional unit, as for the effect of an earthquake, disintegrates into four autonomous and distinct parts: the Infant, Primary, Secondary School and the Gym. The architectural quality will not be sought only through the built, but rather in the complex relationship that will be established between the parts. The fracture generated will give rise to a place of identity formed by a public pedestrian path that will connect the parking lot various functions required by the notice. This space will be considered as a place of social relations which, metaphorically associated with the image of a tectonic fracture, will have the task of increasing the sense of community even more. The reconstruction, not only physical, of these places inevitably passes from the education of the young generations who, united in memory, will have the task of transporting the community to the nearest future. The project is the bearer of a strong educational – cultural message. The disintegration of the parts is made evident through a twofold treatment of the facades: the outer shell will be defined by compact urban-type fronts treated superficially as plaster while the inner heart, a true architectural backdrop of the complex, will be configured thanks to a measured balance between glazed surfaces, colored sunscreens and larch wood. The project volumes, in their linearity, will be defined by photovoltaic metal roofing. The willingness to dialogue with the profiles of the surrounding mountain landscape and to associate the school with the archetype of the House is clear, in order to make the permanence of the young users more.
